Bohemia Music is run by teacher, composer, music promoter, song writer and music producer, Nev Hawkins.
He studied music teaching at Goldsmiths University. Where he gained a Graduate Diploma in Music Teaching to Adults; in 2005.
Specialising in adult music education, Nev has been running guitar and music courses in Ealing since 2010.
Over the last six years he's been leading a community band in Ealing.
The Orchestra of Love and Redemption (OLR) is an Indie Rock guitar orchestra, featuring Nev’s students and professional singers, bass players and drummers. Playing originals and unusual arrangements of cover versions, (See Video below) the band's gigs have garnered much local support and admiration.
During his varied career in music, Nev has produced music for TV, film and theatre. He’s performed many gigs and festivals in bands and as a solo artist. His work as a music promoter; showcasing songwriters and bands in London and beyond has seen him work in collaboration with national and international artists.
He writes songs in partnership with other composers and solo. If you’re interested in writing songs and performing them, Nev is a great coach.
Made during the first lockdown in 2020. Ealing based community guitar orchestra, OLR, recorded the song Ghost Town by The Specials and made a video. Each member recorded their parts at home and video clips. Then Nev produced the track from the individual parts. The video was produced by Pino Agnello.
